Program Description
Educators selected for this scholarship program will be equipped with proven methods, resources, and tools to engage students in team-based community problem solving.
Educators will learn how to design and teach real-world projects while implementing a 3-4 week learning experience for students to develop skills, knowledge, and confidence.
The cohort of Korda Global Scholars will be immersed in online training, coaching, and peer networking over a 6 month period.
Upon completion of the program, educators will earn a certificate.

Join a Cohort of Educators Who Are Excited About Being:
Participants Must Commit to all Program Activities including:
- Online Course (approximately 6 hours)
- Attend 6 Synchronous Cohort Sessions
- Small group coaching as needed
- Implementation of a 3-4 week project in your classroom with your students between March-May 2025
- Evidence of Implementation (photos, videos, planning tools, etc.)
- Pre & Post Surveys

Eligibility
Participants must have a working knowledge of the English language as the materials and discussions will be in English.
Educators must have access to the internet and a device in order to participate. The internet and device must have the ability for teachers to:
- Participate in online sessions via video conferencing (e.g. Zoom)
- Take the Korda Institute’s online Foundations Course
- Take photos/videos of class project
If selected, Educators must have the ability to attend online synchronous sessions, which may be outside or during of the school day depending on their location.
