Program Overview

The Health Sciences Discovery Program is a collaboration between University Hospitals, the Korda Institute for Teaching, and Hawken School. The program’s mission is to expand access to and generate interest in the healthcare field among students at an earlier stage of their education. By equipping schools throughout Ohio to deliver powerful programs for students to learn while solving real, unsolved problems in the health sciences, this program engages the next generation of healthcare professionals by immersing students in meaningful, hands-on learning experiences.  Core to its mission to expand access to students to the health sciences through deep learning, funding from University Hospitals enables students to attend cost-free.
