Educators at Braden Middle School partnered with their local YMCA to give students an opportunity for real-world learning. The students were challenged by the CEO of the YMCA to help reduce the number of drownings suffered by their community on the shores of Lake Erie. Watch how student ownership and research-skills increased once they realized their teamwork could create solutions that could save lives.
